The E-Town Information Technology Park is the only national-level information technology park jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Beijing Municipal Government. It serves as a national information technology innovation base and an international open-source community. Its main mission is to cultivate independent information technology systems and safeguard national network security.

Strategic Positioning

The park focuses on building a national information technology base, a national cybersecurity team, and a digital economy highland. It drives the exploration of 100-billion-level industrial cluster implementation and 10-trillion-level industrial ecosystem cultivation practices.

Ecosystem Development

Currently, the park has gathered over 90% of leading enterprises in the information technology field, initially forming a complete industry chain with a distinctive ecosystem. It enables two-way empowerment between the innovation chain and the industry chain.

Future Goals

By 2025, the park’s industrial scale is expected to reach 100 billion yuan. Phase I of the park will become a “technology + culture + life” integrated industrial new city landmark. Currently, over 30 enterprises — including Loongson, Shenzhou Digital, Digital China, iFLYTEK, Huawei, Lenovo, Feiteng, Unisoft, Inspur, Tongfang, and SMIC — have signed to settle in, covering chips, complete machines, operating systems, databases, middleware, office software, network equipment, integrated circuit services, basic software and hardware, and 5G and cloud computing.
